If you have not yet been able to dive Adobe Firefly Video-Generation yet, let me show you some basics, and how you can prompt it to begin creating fun assets to include in your video projects.
First… the interface.
There is not a lot of difference in the general vibe of Firefly for images and Firefly for video generation. The RESULTS show up in the main screen portion. The SETTINGS are in a panel on the left, and the PROMPT is on the bottom edge. You get that - you can see it… but let’s talk about the actual navigation of this layout and how to prompt to get the results for which you are seeking.

Video History
Across the top is the Video History, and if you mouse over the black button beside the ‘Generate’ button, it reads -
Your video history is only available for the duration of this browser session.
Which means - if you like it, you better download it, because after you close the window - you are going to lose it.
Image
This is where you drop your reference image to serve as the starting point for your video. It sets the structure, the vibe and style, and provides a visual anchor for the subject and action being engaged.
Prompt
We have been doing this part for some time in other applications, so we are not novices in writing ‘something’ to tell the AI what we want. Keep in mind the options already defined in the left hand side. We will look at prompting structures later.
