Barcode Expansion - with AI :: Part 2
Midjourney [ External Image Editor ] + Photoshop + Adobe Express
I kicked off this challenge with my last post:
Let’s start off with Brach’s Candy Canes (tis the approaching season). ChatGPT suggested the following:
Concept: Candy Cane Forest
• Barcode Integration: Transform the vertical barcode lines into a row of candy canes of varying heights.
• Details: Add a snowy base along the bottom of the barcode to mimic a winter scene. The red and white stripes of the candy canes can alternate to align with the barcode lines while maintaining scannability.
• Accents: Add small playful elves or reindeer interacting with the candy canes (e.g., one hanging an ornament on a candy cane or another holding a peppermint swirl).
Here is the current barcode on the back of the candy cane box…
I am going to start by getting an image of just the barcode, then import that image into Midjourney. This barcode is a UPC-A. I used Online Barcode Generator to generate a fresh, clean copy of the Brach’s barcode. Now, I can take this image into Midjourney.
