Book Review! by Tridib Ghosh
A Copy-Paste of Tridib's review of my book "Midjourney : Back to Basics • Beginner's Guide"
So, my LinkedIn family, I just finished reading my friend Brian Sykes's latest masterpiece, and I'm absolutely thrilled to share my thoughts with you all! 🌟
Brian has done it again with his new book on mastering Midjourney prompts. Don't get fooled by the name "Midjourney - Back to Basics Guide" It's like he's handed us the keys to a magical kingdom of creativity! 😍
From the very first page, Brian's warm and engaging style pulls you in. He explains the importance of prompting in AI image creation with such clarity and enthusiasm that you can't help but get sucked in. It's like he's right there with you, guiding you through this fascinating new world.
What I love most is how Brian breaks everything down into bite-sized, easy-to-digest pieces. He starts with the basics, comparing it to learning the alphabet before writing sentences. It's such a clever way to make a complex topic feel approachable and fun! ( Don't miss out on the gentle dose of humor/ dry humor)
This book is a goldmine of information. Brian shows us how a well-crafted prompt can transform a vague idea into a stunning visual masterpiece. It's not just about creating images; it's about bringing your wildest imagination to life!
As you progress through the book, you can feel Brian's passion for the subject radiating off the pages. He promises to "blow your mind" with what's possible in GenAI, and let me tell you, he delivers on that promise BIG TIME!
What sets this book apart is that it's not just a simple "how-to" guide. Brian has created a comprehensive framework for understanding and communicating with Midjourney. It's like he's teaching us a new language - the language of the Gen AI World!
If you're even remotely interested in AI-generated imagery or just love exploring new creative frontiers, do yourself a favor and grab a copy of Brian's book. Trust me, you'll be creating jaw-dropping images and impressing your friends in no time! 🚀🎨
Huge congratulations to you my friend on another fantastic contribution to the world of AI and creativity. Can't wait to see what he comes up with next! 🎉👏

And to be clear… these reviews are from my friends - but nothing is given them but an opportunity to read and review. None of the reviewers asked, profit from this expenditure of time, but knowledge gained (IF) it is a help to them.
It is an intimidating thing...
to believe in an idea, put it to 'paper', and share it out to your peers (who embraced AI like myself and have themselves - taken the helm of teaching others)... to ask them to objectively READ (something they already know about) and to REVIEW.
Will the way I teach make sense?
Will my peculiar blend of humor land?
Do my philosophies resonate?
Did I miss something important?
Did I make it challenging enough?
Did I make it too complex?
The agony...
Yet once again, I am honored.
Thanks Tridib Ghosh.
Thanks so very much.
